I can't believe that it's 9 years since I've been on DeviantART. Always been quite the lurker, never produced any real masterpieces and have always been there encouraging real artists out there.

Design for me is nothing without real function. Every piece of interface that is designed, needs to look good, and provide some utility to the design. Icons, text, animated drawers and all of those which make technology real. Which complete the experience of admiring design.

Wallpapers which can be integrated into the desktop experience. Icons which do more than just look good. And above all, dynamic content.
Dynamic content which works in sync with services and applications and content which supports integration. That is true design. And True Art.

When I decided I'd start working on Android interfaces, I realized that there were so many applications which integrated into each other perfectly. Minimalist text works like a charm with Tasker, ADW notifications works with MissedIt and so on!

Of the launchers, I took a liking to the underdog, Zeam Launcher. Minimal, light and powerful (well, almost). On desktops, my favourite was Aston long ago.
